Was ist das Present Tenses?
Im Englischen gibt es zwei wichtige Gegenwartszeiten: das Simple Present für Gewohnheiten und feste Fakten, und das Present Progressive (-ing) für etwas, das gerade jetzt passiert.
Die wichtigsten Regeln
- Simple Present: Infinitiv, in der 3. Person Singular mit -s — „she works“.
- Present Progressive: am / is / are + -ing — „they are working“.
- Simple-Present-Signalwörter: always, usually, every day, never.
- Present-Progressive-Signalwörter: now, at the moment, Look!, Listen!.
- Verneinung Simple Present: don't / doesn't + Infinitiv.
