Company Changes

Complete each sentence with the correct form of a verb from the word bank. Use a good dictionary to help you. Number 1 is done for you.

Talking about Schedules

Read the grammar note, then choose the correct verb form in each sentence.

Grammar note: tenses for meetings & schedules
We use the present simple to talk about regular events or fixed timetables. The board meeting takes place every Monday at 9 a.m.   The train to Frankfurt leaves at 07:45.
We use the present continuous to talk about a fixed, arranged future event. I'm presenting the new figures at Thursday's meeting.   We're meeting the client at 2 p.m.
We use the present simple (not present continuous) for official timetables and programmes. The conference starts at 10:00 and finishes at 17:00.   Registration opens at 9:30.
