Sprint (100m): A fast, short race straight down the track — it is over in a matter of seconds. Perfect for students who love pure speed.
Long Jump: Sprint down the runway and leap as far as you can into the sand pit. Timing and technique matter as much as strength.
Shot Put: Throw a heavy metal ball as far as possible. This event is all about power and strength, not running.
Relay Race: A team event in which four runners take turns and pass a baton to each other. You win or lose together.

Prompt 1: Some people say Sports Day is a great tradition that brings the whole school together. Others think it puts too much pressure on students who are not good at sport. Should schools have a Sports Day? Give your opinion and explain your reasons.
Prompt 2: "Taking part is more important than winning." Do you agree? Write about whether schools should focus on competition and winning, or on fun and taking part, giving reasons for your view.
