Read the texts below, then answer the questions — just like Reading Parts 1 and 2 in the real MSA exam.
CPR (chest compressions): If someone's heart has stopped, you press hard on their chest again and again to keep the blood moving until an ambulance arrives.
The recovery position: If someone is unconscious but still breathing, you turn them carefully onto their side so they can breathe safely and do not choke.
Treating burns: If someone burns their hand, you hold it under cool running water for several minutes to take the heat out of the skin.
Stopping bleeding: If someone has a deep cut, you press a clean cloth firmly onto the wound to stop the blood and then wrap a bandage around it.
